John Newton
Owner & President
John has been in the Group Insurance and Life Insurance Industry since 1970. After being an Executive at Prudential of America, John joined Dorbar in 1989 as 50% partner and became sole owner in 1999. John transitioned the company from a full service agency to an employee benefit brokerage firm and takes great pride in his team at Dorbar. John consistently keeps apprised of changes in the Industry by attending workshops and seminars. John will give you 100% of his expertise and commitment.
Greg Newton
Owner & Vice-President
Greg graduated from Guelph University with a Honors Degree in Economics and joined Dorbar in 2000. Greg continued his education by obtaining his Life Insurance License and completing the Canadian Securities Course. Greg keeps apprised of industry standards by attending workshops and seminars regularly. Greg provides responsive and proactive attention to our clients’ needs making him one of the best solution providers in the business. He will provide informed and candid advice which honors and respects the goals of our clients. Lindsay Newton, CFP
Insurance & Wealth Advisor
Lindsay graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. She obtained her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2002 and holds both her Mutual Funds license and Life Insurance License. Lindsay has over 17 years of experience working in the financial services industry. Before joining Dorbar in 2012, she held various sales and relationship management positions at TD Canada Trust. Lindsay was recognized with several awards for her dedication to customer service and exceeding sales targets. Lindsay focuses on providing risk and retirement solutions to individual and group clients as well as individual life, disability and critical illness insurance. Lindsay believes in a client centered approach and is committed to ethically, competently and diligently helping them achieve their life goals.
